Statisfied with my mid-year results

I really statisfied with my mid-year results as i dint work very hard for it. During the exam period, i still reading manga and playing computer games. Im very surprise with the results. O^O I think this time im very lucky. But, i cannot always depend on my luck. Hehe.

Finally, today is the last paper for the mid-year exam. I really dont expect high marks from the term.
Physics paper is very difficult. I dont know 'Every' question. I spent a lot of time doing the MCQs. A few questions are on kinematics, i dont understand what the question is talking. Besides, we dont have a lot of worksheets on kinematics, so it is understood that we won't score so well.
aiya...dont think about it anymore lah...its over ready...Now, i need to focus on the our coy Adventure Camp thing...

Marriage at 16? ST 180307

Muslim teenagers are allowed to get married at age 16. Some of the girls who have had sex before the marriage are forced to get married by their parents. The parents wanted to save face. I wonder if the face is more important than their children's future? Making your children marry at 16 is a wrong choice as they are ill-prepared. The loss of face is only temporary while the children's future is a life-long issue.

If i were the girl, i will not want myself to get trapped in the house. I want to do more things rather than take care of a child or do housework. And also, I do not know whether the guy i married is the correct one. There is a less time for me to choose.

Ok, so i hope the government will raise the minimum age to 18. I think by then, the teenagers are slightly more responsible. They may finish some amount of studying and would have gotten some qualifications. They will be able to earn some money to raise a child.

Our girls have done a great job today! The drill is very nice. I can feel the team spirit. The commander too, did a good job. Zara's voice very loud and we could hear the echos. HAHA~~
I think we have no problem winning gold. Ya, no problem.

When we cough and sneeze, we will produce respiratory droplets. They will cause flu and colds to be transferred from person to person.

It means, when we walk past a sick person who is sneezing and coughing, the droplets will pass through the air and drop [settle] on our nose or mouth. Another way that they can spread is when we touch a surface which the droplets have settled on. If we do not wash our hands immediately before touching our face, we might get infected. Germs can survive 2 hours or longer on the surface areas of the furniture.

We are encountering many diseases in our daily life, the chances for us getting sick is very high. I think in order to prevent it, we should always be hygienic, for example, covering our mouth while sneezing, washing our hands before eating…etc. Also, we need to eat a healthy and balanced diet and exercise regularly.

The march holiday will be a very busy week.Besides the fact that i have 4 days of CCA practise(include the competition day)and 1 day outing to celebrate my birthday with my friends, I have lots of lots of homework to do.

Yesterday, miss khek gave us a whole stack of comprehension worksheets. You guess how thick is it? It is about 1cm thick!!!!! But, the english homework does not just end there. We also need to write 4 journals out of the 12 questions.English homework is not the only homework i get. I also have math, bio.... and here there are:

Every teacher says that they only give 'a little' homework to do. They are 'so kind' that they have given us a discount. But, while i add up all my homework i need to finish within this terrible week, i feel headache and stressed.There is a test on the first week of school, i need to study it. I did very badly for my first term. I really hope the teacher will be more considerate next time. And nevertheless, they always don't mark our homework. What's the purpose if we don't know our mistakes?

Full House II come out

Full House II has came out in Korea quite long time ago. However, not many people knows it. There is no chinese or english version yet.

There are some peaceful days after their marriage. But, they are not like snow white whom live happily ever after. The author always twist the story to get the readers' attention. OK, i may say her twist is not very impressive this time , or rather it is too 死板. 艾丽 got in a car accident and was found in an unfamiliar place when she woke up. She and her husband lost contact. The guy(quite rich) who found her is attracted by her beauty. He likes her.The chapter stops her. I think all of us will more or less guess out what will happen to the rest of the story.

Still, I feel that the first series of the manga or the movie, television programmes is the best. The continuation story is not as good as the first one. Don't you feel the same?

WHY all my friends are so crazy over 飞轮海？And how come i dont have any feelings towards them? =.=

They got act in 花样少年少女. Wow, their handsome looking attracted a lot of girls, ranging from Taiwan, china, malaysia and singapore. They are really hot. Many of my friends' msn display picture use their picture, especially wu zun's. He is the hottest in the band. Still, i felt nothing about him. I think thats very werid for me, because im a 花痴. I like beautiful things.

HAHA.Its quite late today, i will stop here.

Dont 'Supersize' Yourself

Just finished watching the movie called 'Supersize Me'. It is a documentary about a man who ate at Mac's for 30 days. He gained 15 pounds and his cholesterol level went up. His fitness levels all went down. He felt depressed when he could not eat Mac's and found it difficult to breath sometimes. His health was in danger if he did not stop eating Mac's.

When i was watching the movie, i wondered why the Americans can eat so much food. Everything is super big in size. The smallest size of the fries in US is actually the biggest size in other countries. No wonder all the Americans are so BIG.

I 'admire' the man who can eat Mac everyday. For me, I will feel very disgusted and sick if i ate the same thing every day and night. Also, i will not let myself become so fat, it's not very adorable.

In the past, what i heard about the negative effects of Mac's are not related to myself. Because im not a regular eater. But, after watching this movie, i found that the issue has become more personal. It is because the obesity problem is all around us today (1 in 4 of the Americans is obese) , may be one day in future i will get obese too. Therefore, I should be more alert about my health.

I think that people should choose to eat healthy food. We need to stay healthy. As a chinese idiom says,"健康就是财富"(health is wealth)。

CNY celebration was finally end

haha... cny celebration is finally end...im free now!
Actually, i made a lot of mistakes today. I added some words in the celebration and also forgot some words. Luckily, my partner was quick-minded, he was able to react with sudden change. thx to him.(he is a funny guy) ok, i like all my partners this year. They all very nice, unlike my last year's partner(i dont know how to communicate with that guy).
By the way, im wearing light blue 'qi pao' today. It looked weird and funny. I dont understand why my friends say it is nice. Anyway, i found this year's audience is very enthusiastic.(better then last yr) im quite statisfied.
Ya, this afternoon, nicolette and i went to japanese association. Before going there, we went to bugis. We wanted to take newprint, but there was so many people. Then,we decided not to take it. Since her friends were also in bugis, we went to find them. haha, in the same place that as we met her friends, we met dora and my cousin. The world is so small. haha. (we also met olivia and wanying)
o. ya. back to the topic. The Japanese association is super nice lor. There is a lot of comic books. Unfortunatelly, i dont know how to read them as they all written in japanese. The food is delicious too.(quite expensive) I ate very full.

This week is terrible

I really wanted to shout out all my unhappiness about this week. I have 4 tests altogether, and well, this is how the week looks like:

Monday: Chemistry Test & CCA (6+pm)
Tuesday:Biolodgy Test & CNY rehearsal(5+pm)
Wednesday: Geography Test & CCA(5+pm)
Thursday: Chinese Test

Do you think i have extra time to study the test?
When i get back home, i will be very exhausted. Erm... ...I have finished 2 tests. They are not very well done. Im prepared to fail. Somemore, tomorrow is geograpy test. Geography is one of my weaker subject. No matter how hard i study, the marks i get are still very low. If possible, i really want to give up on this subject. Why should we study the subject that we don't like? Won't it be unfair to the student who are not talented in some subjects? The school should let us choose the subjects that we want to learn. Also, Im sure that our results will be much better if we study the subject that we prefer. Don't you agree?

How do i feel towards TVXQ

This is my favourite korean band. They are handsome, hardworking, talented, caring, cute, and the most important thing is they are not proud. I have read many articles about the celebrities 耍大牌. Once they gained their popularity, they will become very arrogant. They start looking down on people, they will show no respect to the people. Often, they become rude and self-centred. Despite their good appearance, their character is ‘very差’. Obviously, they will lose their fans and create a bad impression to the people. Their popularity will soon decline and well, they are taken over by some young people.

However, TVXQ is different. Their schedule is very packed everyday. They need to practise their dancing and singing. Sometimes, they also need to act. There are so many things they need to do. But, they did not complain a single thing. Although they are so busy, they did not forget their families and fans. They take care of the gifts that the fans gave to them. They are not like other celebrities whom will throw the gift away. As it is too troublesome to carry it.

Becoming a superstar is their dream.( Actually, each of them is the winner of the singing competition and dancing competition. ) They did not take anything for granted. This is why i like them.They are the NO.1 band in my heart forever.

Is correct pronunciation important?

Well, i think the correct pronounciation is very important. The correct pronounciation links to the correct meaning of the word. Some words may be spelled in the same way, but their meaning is different with different prounciation. For example, the word 'content'. If you stress the word at 'con', it means the things inside. However, if you stress it at 'tent', it means satisfied. What do you think if you are actually wanted to say satisfied, but your prounciation means ' the things inside'? There is an obsolutely misunderstanding between you and your friends.

Won't you be very proud if you can pronounce a word properly? It is true for me. The correct pronounciation also proves that your english standard is very high. It gives you people's respect.And of course, people will not make fun of you.

Anyway, correct pronounciation gives you respect from the people and provides better communication between you and your friends.
